Simulation of the inside of the Standard House reservoir

Only the manhole covers in Conduit Avenue and the conduit vent to the west indicate that the reservoir exists. This Simulation shows the reservoir as it may have appeared when it was used as an air-raid shelter during the second world war. The location and scaling is based on a survey conducted for The Royal Parks.

Simulation of the Roman Temple

Although it is not known exactly what the Roman Temple looked like, it is known that it was dedicated to the God Jupiter and sizeable. This simulation gives an impression of the Temple and its link to the Roman road, Watling Street, which passed through the park. In particular it aims to show how visible the temple would have been in the neighbourhood.
